Third great mass of the reggae music this edition of the Festival Reggae Donn Sa 2, May 6, 2006, saw the participation of the English legendary group, Steel Pulse in the headlines.
A big challenge for the organisers which was rewarded by the large crowd present. OSB Co. Ltd and Live N Direk Entertainment proved that they have the confidence of the amateurs of the kind and that they can drain the crowd. Not so well known on our island, the group of David Hinds has made a good musical impression, proposing a partition groovy & roots, the band with David Hinds was striking. Composed of scripts describing social ills and rebels the English group underlined its musical philosophy. Especially on titles, such as "Taxi Driver" or "Global Warning". Known or unknown to the public, Steel Pulse is simply outstanding music. It is also 30 years of struggling against racism, discrimination and thus 30 years of musical involvement and devotion.
Troisième grande messe du reggae music ctte édition du Festival Reggae Donn Sa, le 6 mai 2006, a vu la participation du groupe légendaire anglais, Steel Pulse en tête d'affiche.
Un gros défi pour les organisateurs qui fut récompensé par la grosse mobilisation du public. OSB Co. Ltd et Live N Direk Entertainment ont prouvé qu'ils ont la confiance des amateurs du genre et qu'ils peuvent drainer la foule.
Peu connue chez nous, la formation de David Hinds a laissé une bonne impression musicale, proposant une partition groovy & roots, la bande à David Hinds a été percutante. Avec des textes engagés, militants et revendicateurs, la formation anglaise a souligné sa philosophie musicale. Surtout sur des titres, tels, Taxi Driver ou Global Warning. On connait ou on ne connait pas, Steel Pulse c'est tout de même de la bonne vibes. C'est aussi trente ans de combat contre le racisme, la discrimination, ainsi que trente ans d'engagement musical...
The Festival Reggae Donn Sa, organized by OSB Co. Ltd, in august 2005, held all its promises.
It was an outstanding event in our country, as this reggae festival presented two artists of international renoun. The organizes successfully met the challenges by the participation of both local and international reggaeman on the same stage, thus promoting the Jah Jah music at the Maryse Justin stadium's at Reduit. Pierpoljak in a local press conference said that 'They (OSB Co. Ltd) would become an unmatchable group in the years to come".
Considering the concert of Daddy Mory/Pierpoljak, the organizers of the Festival Reggae Donn Sa have shown that they are on the right track. The public was carried away by the tunes of the roots and the artists' performances. The Mory phenomenon with his riddims had thrilled the audience. With such an explosive performance Daddy Mory has certainly marked those who were already accustomed to his music. His scenic presence proves the wide extent of his talents and his strenght. This explains why he his one of the most famous artist in the French dance hall..Mory's performance is usually acclaimed. As Pierpoljak, he met the expectations of the public. One will still remember Pierpoljak but no one will forget so soon a phenomenon like Daddy Mory.
Le Festival Reggae Donn Sa, monté par OSB Co. Ltd, le 13 août 2005, a tenu ses promesses.
Evènement phare dans le paysage local, ce festival reggae proposait deux artistes de calibre international. Les organisateurs ont réussi le pari en rassemblant des reggaeman/raggamen d'ici et d'ailleurs sur la même plate-forme pour défendre la musique de Jah Jah, au stade Maryse Justin, à Réduit.
"Ils (ndlr: OSB Co. Ltd) seront incontournables dans quelques années" avait dit Pierplojak, lors d'une rencontre avec la presse locale. Au vu du concert de samedi les organisateurs du Festival Reggae Donn Sa sont sur la bonne voie. Le public a été emporté par la vague roots et la prestation des artistes.
Le phénomène Mory avec ses riddims a fait exploser l'audience. Connu des habitués de l'underground Daddy Mory a certes estampillé son nom en gras sur le sol mauricien avec sa prestation volcanique. Sa présence scénique prouve l'étendu de son talent et sa force. Ce n'est pas pour rien qu'il est l'un des poids lourds du dancehall français. Du Mory on en redemande. Pierpoljak pour sa part a été égal à sa réputation. On se rappellera encore de Pierpoljak mais on n'oubliera pas de si tôt le phénomène Daddy Mory.
After Homaz Kaya, in 2004 which had gathered 15 000 people, OSB Co. Ltd. et Live N Direk Entertainment passed to another stage with a first international concert.
Proposing the mythical the African reggaeman Alpha Blondy for its baptism of international demonstration, the organisers showed their ambition clearly that is to become the reference as regards event reggae of the Indian Ocean. More than 10. 000 people rushed to Bambous Stadium to greet and honour this charismatic man and singer of principle. For a concert acclaimed as being well done through out. On that particular day, Alpha Blondy and Solar System met a public that had longed to see them in live. That day OSB Co. Ltd. et Live N Direk Entertainment made this dream come true. After a first part in Sound System ensured by the whole OSB Crew, the pope of the African reggae thrilled his public. He gave the first tune based on Psalm 23, before asking the public to observe one minute of silence in the memory of Kaya. Ten, he sang Jerusalem, words that set Alpha Blondy on fire. A concert which acted as a reference and an unforgettable one for the reggae fans.

Proposant le mythique reggaeman africain, Alpha Blondy pour son baptême de manifestation internationale les organisateurs affichent clairement leur ambition: devenir la référence en matière d'évènement reggae de l'océan indien.
Plus de 10. 000 personnes se sont ruées à Bambous pour saluer comme il se doit cet homme charismatique et ce chanteur de principe. Pour un concert qui fut de bout en bout "well done".
En ce jour, Alpha Blondy et les Solar System avaient rendez-vous avec un public qui rêvait de le voir en live depuis des années. Et samedi dernier OSB Co. Ltd et Live N Direk Entertainment ont fait de ce rêve une réalité. Après une première partie en Sound System assurée par OSB au complet, le pape du reggae africain a fait vibrer son public. Il s'introduit sur les lignes du Psaume 23, avant de demander d'observer une minute de silence en la mémoire de Kaya. Puis, c'est Jerusalem, porteur de paroles oecuméniques, que la machine Alpha Blondy s'enflamme. Un concert référence et inoubliable pour les inconditionnels du reggae.
