Les Otentikk Street Brothers ont chanté avec Les Wailers à la fin du concert des musiciens de Bob Marley, samedi soir, à Rose-Hill. Consécration amplement méritée pour le quatuor du Crew qui, durant ces 15 dernières années, est parvenu à naviguer vers le large. OSB est aujourd'hui loin, bien plus loin que l'on aurait pu l'imaginer. Samedi, au Stade Sir Gaëtan Duval, la bande s'est dévoilée sous un nouveau visage.

Les roulements de la basse et de la batterie montent en un même écho. À la lueur d'une lumière bleutée, les instruments s'animent dans cette poésie que l'on reconnaît aux premières notes. Les battements du reggae roots s'accordent à ceux du cœur. L'instant devient magique, mystique, irréellement vrai. Quelque part dans l'ombre, une voix s'élève. Dans l'intonation, elle rappelle une autre. Le feeling aussi, tandis que ce Natural Mystic qui monte dans l'air rose-hillien confère une dimension spirituelle à l'événement. La chanson est reprise en chœur, naturellement, sans qu'il y ait besoin de forcer. Le ton est donné, il est sobre et chaleureux comme lorsque l'on est entre nous.
This is the first newsletter of the 20th International Africa Festival. It takes place from 22nd to 25th May 2008 in Würzburg. On the occasion of our 20th Anniversary, we would like to make an opinion poll. We are interested in getting to know which artist has mostly impressed you in the past 19 years.
